life capsule
preserve your DNA in a beautiful sculpture
laurie lucas, reporter for the press enterprise, wrote an article
about the DNA project and the life capsules on september 18, 2006,
called "Pieces of You" (click on "pieces of you" to read the article.)
the life capsule is a real sculpture to safely hold and preserve
your DNA. it's made from polyester resin and looks like an icy,
ancient rock.
the cost for the life capsule is currently $250. collecting your
DNA is easy: you get it from the inside of your cheek like they are
currently doing for the genome project.

commission one, please email me at lindaparnell@dnaproject.org

when you turn them over you can see the
little bottle inside that archives your
DNA.
your name, birth date and the
archive date of your DNA is encased
inside on a transparent tag.
